I know this game is super slow, but I thought I'd post this anyway to make it more official, especially in my head.

I need a long hiatus from rp. :( I've been considering it off and on for a few months and keep putting it off for various reasons. But I've been playing for almost 9 years straight with no real break all around the board. I've hiatused from a certain game before or hiatused a certain character, but not all of my characters/games at once, not all officially at once, and I think that's what I need to recharge my batteries.

I hate that rp doesn't come easy anymore. I want to play and write, my muses want to play, but then there's some sort of disconnect and nothing comes out. It's like pulling teeth most of the time. If something does come out, it feels ooc, even for my OC's, and it's so so frustrating. Still don't like hiatuses in general, even when I need one!

I love you guys, I miss playing, and I miss playing in this game. :( But I expect to take around 2-3 months or so. Hopefully a good, complete break will be just what I need.

If you're interested in picking up either of my canon characters (Harry Potter or Angela Dodson), feel free to talk to me about it. In fact, feel free to talk to me about anything! I'm still around.

So this post has three parts to it. The first part, where I say welcome to our two new players, Em and Sara!! I hope both of you have a great time here at WIHH! The second part where I say, the wiki looks horked so until further notice, don't worry about it. I'll get some kind of post up in the future that lists all the pups each player has, contact info, and fandom of pup that will be locked to community members only so emails and SNs won't be accessible to anyone not in WIHH. And the third part where I say GOD DAMN IT I HATE MY LIFE.

Not really, actually. I love my life. Except for the part where my laptop just fucking shit the bed on me and is completely fucked. It keeps telling me a windows file needed to boot up is either missing or corrupt. So I need to isolate my hard drive in an enclosure and get all my data off of it and then do a complete system restore in the hopes that it's just some virus or some shit and I can fix it. If not, I may have to halt all RP activity aside from mod duties. *Yeah yeah, I know. How is that different from now since I barely RP as it is.* For now, I have access to my email on my iPhone so keep sending me emails to pryllie@gmail.com and I can access the comms for comm joining approvals from the browser on my phone. Wouldn't it be awesome if IJ had an app for that? LOL Anyways, until I know for sure if my laptop is going to be okay, I have limited access to the internet. I'm currently on the desktop, but it's in my home office and I can't spend much time in it since my kids are in the other room, and also that's sketchy too as we can't get it to turn off, outside of pulling the plug, so it could be horked too. IDEK anymore. *headdesk*

I'm sorry for my lack of activity again, everyone! I've been basically running a website by myself and it doesn't even belong to me. But for the sake of the sanity of my "boss" I've been doing pretty much all the work. She has to work on actual job related stuff and hasn't had time for the website.

That coupled with the usual duties of a mother of two who are both in sports and the wife of a demanding husband along with a severe addiction to Farmville and Twitter, and I've been slacking on the RP front. Toss in the sheer exhaustion of everyone in the house getting first a debilitating cold and then over the last week, a violent stomach virus and I've not been able to leave the house and do errands let alone RP.

Most of you know that I've been in a RP slump for awhile now and while I'll never leave this game because I love to mod it, there's a good possibility that I could conceivably drop most of my characters. The only ones I wouldn't are of course God, my OCs and one or two others that I made promises to never drop. As for the rest of them, it's unfair to me to keep pups that I never play with. So I'm going to waffle about it some more for awhile and make up my mind sometime in the next decade. :) We always allow doubles and multiples of characters so if anyone were interested in bringing in their own version of characters I play, just ask me. I'm sure I'll say yes.

Also, I'm going to be starting a new plot soon. But I wanted to ask, does anyone want to do anything for Halloween? I'm open to suggestions because everything I can think of has been done already.

Okay, starting this Friday the plot goes live! The tag for this plot will be godboxmayhem!plot and I'd love you all forever if you remembered to tag your posts with it! So this idea was submitted some time ago by Sam and I was saving it for a really special time. Now is definitely the time. We've cleaned house, made sure all who are interested are still here and it's time for an awesome plot.

GODBOXES MALFUNCTION FOR A WEEK.

IKNORITE?!?! Totally awesome idea. See, here's the deal:

God is basically going to go take a reeeeeeeally long nap and say fuck it all. So when people go to use their Godboxes, instead of taking them to their intended destination, it will fuck up and send them to some completely different place. The Godboxes aren't going to always malfunction. Some people can get to where they want to go, for instance the people you don't choose to have participate.

The way this is going to work is I want everyone who wants to participate comment to this post with each character they want to have in the plot. You can always change your mind later and add or subtract pups.

Once I've gotten all the names, I'm going to write them on paper and randomly pair them up. I'm also going to pick a ton of random places and choose one for each pair.

You have until SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 19TH at MIDNIGHT PST to respond to this post.

As well as just plain old batshit crazy.
