River sat high in tree, crouched on a branch, above a promenade. Her voice drifted down, "Things that go bump in the night, boo. Too bad the stars have nothing to say."

He frowned, looked away from her gaze, contemplated killing her, and eventually pushed off the tree to land neatly on his feet.

It wasn't a memory he had that troubled him; it was a memory he would get. The reason why he had to try and see if daylight would burn him, here. Not a death wish, just a need to know, to try and understand.

He looked up at her. "You're a fine meal for a lot of beings, out on your own once night's fallen. So don't be." He didn't know why he'd felt the need to tell her that, but then he turned to go.

	She'd meant a vampire's instinctual fear of the sun, she didn't have a clue about Godric. It was like human fear of falling. Speaking of...she flipped off the tree, gracefully. Not super human, but at the limits of human potential. "Dawn soon." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
