The Master had planted himself in from of a cafe, with a pot of tea. He was watching people go by, and drinking said tea, in his black gloves. He was pretty expressionless and outwardly calm, but then. Most people didn't wear gloves while having tea.

"Ianto, yes. Toshiko... she's happier staying on Earth at the moment." Koschei took a sip of his tea.

"Gallifrey can take care of its own damn self," he finally said, his voice almost conversational. "Lady Romana was making plans to step down as Lord President, since they're starting to regroup after the war, and I've more important matters than to play their games.

"How's Theta? And Lady Romana?"

	Koschei fiddled with his cup again, silent and uncertain where to take the conversation. He didn't want to risk it turning toward him in order for his counterpart to avoid talking about whatever it was bothering him.
