Lucian was staring up at the moon. Sitting very still on a bench in the old town, and staring up at the full moon. The fake full moon.

He frowned when he realised someone had come near and stopped. Turned his head and looked straight at that someone. "Yes?"

Faith had found her way to the old town, though she was trying to avoid the hotel. It crawled with the sense of something not right - not quite vampire as she was used to it, but she'd lay bets there were vampires there. Though this... might be worth the gauntlet of creepy-crawlies.

She was moving along one of the streets, keeping her footsteps light out of habit, when she spotted someone on a bench. Whether human or not, she wasn't sure, not here. Even if at home she'd have said he was either stupid or not a normal human, if he was human at all.

"Just looking." Faith shrugged in response to his question.

	Faith raised an eyebrow a bit, the corner of her mouth curling up in a grin. "Slayer. You?" Not human, not if he could tell she wasn't entirely human herself. 	"Vampire Slayer. I kill vampires and demons." Faith shrugged. "Cool extras, bad retirement plan. What's a Lycan?" Other than short for lycanthrope, which would be a werewolf; she did pay attention to Wesley's attempts to teach her about different sorts of demons. 	She didn't really notice the lack of handshake - she never shook hands at home, unless she was already sure someone was a vampire, and then it was just to get them close enough to stake. "I've heard someone mention it's 'cause people who are dragged here need some down time, but..." Faith shook her head. "This time it dragged me here, I didn't need down time, I needed to get my hands on a certain bitch who kidnapped my Watcher." There was an underlying rage in her words, a possessive emphasis on the last two.

"So, yeah. Don't get why this place decided I needed to be here, instead of working on getting Wesley back."

Faith laughed, the sound devoid of amusement. "It'll be waiting a long while for that. Wesley - he's my Watcher - is the one who does planning. I just kill things."

Not entirely true, not when she was the one who made the choices about where they went, and why. Made the decisions on what plans they used. Even if the decisions left her with consequences she didn't like at all.

"Lilah Morgan. Vampire lawyer, works for an evil law firm called Wolfram & Hart." Faith chuckled darkly. "She wasn't a vampire until we arranged to let the law firm take out Angelus. Who was a really sadistic son of a bitch. Leader of the Aurelius clan, who are probably the only actually organized group of vampires out there."

Of course, the way they took care of Angelus was probably why Lilah wanted to get back at them, and why she kidnapped Wesley.
