3am in the morning, “Fantastic!” the human Doctor shouted in excitement. “Finally, completed with the dual dimensional time watch,” he was checking it. “Not bad for someone who doesn’t have sonic screwdriver. Oi, what I would do to have one!” and he grinned, “Ah the Donna in me you’re a genius. Ooo, you are so grrrrrreat.”
He wished she was here to share the glory of her brilliant human intuition that had helped him to complete the dual dimensional watch.
“Awwww,” he covered his mouth with his right hand. “Riiiight, next----“ he heard a beep from his computer. “Instant message!” he quickly ran to his computer.
A message had popped on his computer, Thanks for the warning. The virus is here. How do we stop it? Where did it come from? How does it work? Does it affect everyone?
“Oi!” He was combing his hair with his hands. “Brilliant! Oh, we are good! You’re using the TARDIS!”
He read the message and he paused when he read the last bit.
Is Rose ok?
He narrowed his eye brows at that question. Of course he’s concern, but, he had the right to be concern. There was a pang of pain in his only heart. He was jealous of the Doctor. He felt that. He wouldn’t dare claim her back. Would he?
He had a wild look in his eyes and than he covered his mouth once again when he yawned. He caught a reflection of himself yawning. “When did I start doing that?”
He looked away and did a double take look at his image in the mirror. He saw dark circles under his eyes. He felt his face with his hands. He pulled down his own skin.
“Disgusting, I look terrible,” he looked closer. “Human. . . awwww. I must really stop doing that!”
Now, he understood why Rose asked him, when was the last time he slept. He didn’t. He was up for a long time.
He spun around to read the message again.
“No! No! Noooo. No!” he shook his head. “Oooo. You had to ask that. You really had too!” the question was How do we stop it? “I don’t know!” he read the second question, “OI your asking me question I don’t know.” He kicked his chair in anger. He word the next one, “I DON’T KNOW!” he sounded agitated. The last question, Does it effect everyone? “That one I don’t know. Never looked into that one….hold on.”
He had done a quick research on Earth, “Well, cows, horses and all living beings I reckon. So, I can answer that one.”
“I would ask the questions…I never knew how obvious questions we ask…why am I talking to my computer for instance?”
He looked at the last question about Rose. He stood there. He didn’t like that one. He wished he didn’t bother asking. But he would. He really had a problem with this one.
“Well, my boy you got to wait,” he said, “Matter of fact your timing was perfect!” He looked at his watch and caught the time of the message. “I now need to figure when you sent it and when I sent mine and I might be able to Synchronize our times. Than I can know the time and I can find a way to tap to the TARDIS from here. Well, you need to do the work by helping out. But we think the same so we are brilliant! And Fantastic! And great spacebo---oi," he stopped Donna part in him. Where she would say space boy, in blue monkey suits.
He looked at his rift machine thing he was working. He could send a message through that through his computer.
He had gone back to the message, “Got your message. Was hoping the Virus didn’t get there. Virus fell from space into Africa, I think? It started a week before ‘you’ dropped us off. No one is safe from the virus. U.N.I.T. here claims aliens decided to attack Earth.”
He paused as he looked the question, Is Rose ok?
“Rose is brilliant,” he replied. He wasn’t sure. He had to answer.
“Can you leave the Tard----“ smoke rise from his machine. There was sparks. “No! NO! It seemed it short circuit as he sent the message. He watched the smoke. He figured Doctor would figure it out. He mumbled the rest, “shields down for communication.”
ooc During the communication London had lost a lot of power. It seemed Human Doctor found a way to draw on the city power to get the energy for the message. Just need to mention that.
