some of this is subject to change, bear with me, please!
this is byson baratheon, known throughout westeros as the dreaded king of exile as the gossipers like to say. he's magnus baratheon's only son though his paternity was called into question during the bitter divorce between his parents. exiled along with his mother, he sort of had his entire life turned upside down once the king died. he's currently stationed at a summer estate, battening down his hatches and playing his pieces during the calm before the storm hits.
personality-wise, byson is sharp, strong, and cunning. he has all the baratheon braveness and a reckless zeal to rule, but plenty of martell sneakiness to balance him out. he's spent his entire life preparing to rule so there's definitely a kingly manner to him, and had the great upset not occurred would have likely developed into a benevolent, rowdy, warrior of a king who would have wanted to consolidate the realm and make a name for himself. i'm sort of assuming that he'd be familiar with most people in game since he was heir to the throne for all of his life and had probably journeyed to visit different parts of the realm during the years he was being groomed to take the king's place in the event of his death. currently, he probably has a lot of interest in the starks (particularly the girls) since he definitely is interested in their army and is willing to promise a crown on one of their heads in exchange for backing him against the lannisters and tyrells so there's a lot of awesome plotting possible on that front.
he's had a long time to stew and be intensely bitter about the manner in which his life and future has gone up in flames, but with rhea whispering council in his ear, he sort of views reclaiming the throne as a manner to restore both order and honor to his house. blinded by his duty, his allegiances are only to himself in the pursuit of power he now views as righteousness. i know he's coming into the game as kind of an outlier but i'd love to establish some connections or at least the general impressions people have of him. he's lost a lot of friends in the shuffle but i'm hoping there are still a few who think of him as the rightful heir! sorry for the ramble, dudes.
