Evan was glad Kyri was having a good time. There were other things he wanted to show her but he wanted them to be alone when he took her to those places. He loved his family but he wanted to spend alone time with his wife, too. When Anna suggested they walk down to the Fisherman's Wharf, Evan nodded in agreement before reaching down to take Kyri's hand.
"There's a harbor there, Kyri, with lots of ships," Todd said as he bounced next to her. "When I get older, I'm gonna to the Navy so I can drive a big ship."
Evan furrowed his brow and looked down at his nephew. "I thought you wanted to go into the Air Force and fly planes like me," he said.
"Not anymore!" Todd said as he ran forward to look at some toys one of the vendors was selling.
"Don't worry, Evan. Last week he wanted to be a bear wrangler," Anna said with a laugh as she patted Evan on the shoulder. She then rushed forward to keep Todd from pulling down a box of bracelets.
Since the cable car wouldn't be back around for a few minutes, Evan tugged Kyri away from his family. "How are you doing?" he softly asked before he leaned forward and softly kissed her lips.
