Evan found himself grinning. "I can't wait to meet our baby either. I hope she looks just like you," he said. He didn't know why he thought of the baby as a girl but it just seemed right. "And you're right. They did." He softly laughed and shook his head. "I'll have to get those books from Daniel when we get back or I'm going to end up annoying you with all my stupid questions."
He returned her kiss and smiled against her lips. "My mom is looking forward to meeting you, too," he said.
They still had a few hours before they had to leave for Earth, and Evan knew how he wanted to spend it. Reaching down, he took his wife's hand and led her off the balcony. He took her to the nearest transporter and had it take them to the family living area.
When they got to their quarters, Evan pulled her inside and pulled her close. "I think I might want to make love to my beautiful wife," he whispered before capturing her lips.
