It didn't take Max long to get Alex, Lis and Finn. As they walked back to the control room, she found she had to pick Finn up and carry him since the little boy was so excited. When they got back to the briefing room, she noticed Ronon and Rodney were staring at each other. Shrugging, she watched Lis plug the tablet into the main computer.
Meanwhile, Alex took out the report they had put together and handed a copy to everyone in the room. Once she was finished, she went to stand by Lis as Max sat down with Finn on her lap. She handed him the remote to the main screen and nodded to Lis and Alex.
"Today we want to tell you about the Sheppard-Dex bridge system. Over 10,000 years ago, the Ancients had wanted to build bridges but the Wraith attacked them first," Lis started to explain. "We want to build them so it's easier for people to get around the city."
Max tapped Finn's side so he knew he needed to flip the picture. The little boy point the remote at the screen, and grinned when the picture flipped.
"They have different lanes so you can jog or walk in them," Alex added. "My daddy likes to jog 'cause he says it helps him keep up with my mommy!"
"Oh god," Fred muttered as she hid her face.
"Does my daddy jog so he can keep up with you, Max?" Finn asked as he tilted his head and looked up at her.
"Why don't we finish the presentation, buddy," she said with a small blush.
Lis and Alex finished telling them about the bridge. "Are their any questions?" Alex asked. "Or can we go to the beach now?"
