Carson smiled softly and nodded when Cait said she wanted to take the time away. "I'll speak to Sam then," he told. He knew that they would have to explain what had happened to her, but he knew that for right now, her well-being was more important.
As was their husband's and lover's feelings.
Nodding when Cait said she wanted to talk Rodney and Kade, he helped her clean them up and then got dressed. When they arrived, he wrapped his arm around Cait to give her support. He was glad that he was right and that Rodney wasn't upset with her. Smiling softly as they embraced, he then looked over at Kade and reached out to take his hand, pulling him closer.
"We're going to go away for a few days," he told them. "You said Cait is adjusting and using me for an anchor. It might be easier if we do it away from here where there's not so much going on."
Pulling back slightly from his embrace of Cait, Rodney looked at both of them. Carson moved to wrap his arms around him, tugging Kade over as well.
"Just for a little while," he promised. "You know we love you both very much and wouldn't leave you even for a little while unless it was for a good reason."
Rodney nodded. "I know. It's just..."
He could tell their husband was at a loss since there wasn't much that he could do and he was used to trying to find solutions to everything that happened. "We know," Carson said softly before leaning up to kiss him.
