Sam thought Daniel was adorable when he blushed. Reaching over, she touched her hand to his cheek for a moment and smiled at him before picking up her fork again. She listened with interest while he talked about the translations he had been doing then told him about what she had worked on that day. She was glad to have the investigation on the explosion done - even after everything that they had been through, that had been the most difficult because it hadn't had to happen.
Once they finished dinner, Sam tried to help Daniel, but he was too fast for her. Shaking her head, she waited for him to come back out - sometimes, it was nice to be waited on, especially by such a great husband.
She wondered what he had planned for when he was done and had her question answered when he put on the music. "I don't know. I'm sure Molly would disagree," she told him with laugh. When he held out his hand as he bowed, she grinned and reached out to take it. "You may."
Soon she was in his arms with hers wrapped around him as they moved to the music. Sam looked up at him with a smile before leaning up to kiss him.
"Thank you. For tonight. I needed this so much," she told him.
