Daniel was glad he hadn't ruined the chicken. Picking up his knife and fork, he cut a small piece off and took a bite. He had to hand it to some of the cooks they had on the Atlantis - they were good. He picked up his glass of wine, and smiled at his wife and blushed at her toast. "Thanks," he muttered as he looked down at his plate. I love you too. Very much.
He sat his glass of wine down, and started to eat again. As he did, he talked to Sam about some of the translations he had been working on before listening to what she had done during the day. When they were finished, Daniel collected the plates and took them to the kitchen, where he washed them. Once he was finished, he went back out to the table and grinned at Sam.
Daniel then went over to their small stereo system, and pressed play. He jumped a little when he realized one of Molly's CDs was in it, and gave Sam a sheepish look. "Don't think Hannah Montana is very romantic," he said with a laugh before he switch CDs to something more adult. Once the music was playing, he walked over to Sam, and bowed before holding out his hand. "May I have this dance?"
