"If I didn't want to do it, then I wouldn't have brought it up, Ronon," Max said with an amused look. When he agreed to it, she grinned. She wanted to fling her arms around him, and give him a hug, but held back. "You won't regret it. I'll even make it fun."
Standing, Max picked up his gun, and handed it back to him before tugging him out of the chair. "It'll be better if we do this inside," she said. "I'm sure you don't want one of your friends coming out on their balconies, and seeing what you're doing. I have an older brother so I know how easily embarassed guys get when their friends see them doing something like dancing."
Once they were inside, Max glanced down the hallway, and saw Lis peeking out of her bedroom. She nodded her head, which made Lis bounce and grin. She mouthed a 'thank you', and disappeared into her bedroom. Shaking her head, Max looked at Ronon, and had him stand in the middle of the living room.
"This is really easy. You're going to be dancing in no time flat," she said. "I'm going to be you right now. First, you have to bow to her, like this." Max draped one arm over her stomach, and tucked the other behind her back. She bowed at the waist, and then straightened her posture.
"Now you take her hand," she said as she put her hand in his. There was a slight spark but Max pushed it off as static. "And you place your other hand just above her waist." She placed her other hand just above Ronon's gun hoister.
Max looked up at him, and gave him a soft smile before slowly stepping back. "As for the dancing. It's one step to the left, half-turn, one step to the right, half turn, and repeat," she said as she showed him. "Pretty simple, huh?"
