Carson grinned, wrapping his arms around Cait and holding her. When Shaun kicked, he looked over at Kade as he rested his hand on her stomach and tried not to roll his eyes when she called it soccer and not football.
"Very funny, love," he said, kissing her temple.
Knowing she was right and that they should get back to the city before Jeannie and Tim were completely driven mad by Rodney's parenting tips, they got all their belongings together and headed back to the jumper. When they arrived at the city, they went downstairs to find Tim walking through the atrium with his son cradled against his shoulder.
"Everything all right?" Carson asked.
"Jeannie told me to get out while I could. Apparently Rodney is trying to rearrange the nursery, so she's trying to talk him down," he told them.
Carson looked at his wife and lover. "Oh, lord. Sounds like we arrived just in time," he said as they hurried to Tim and Jeannie's quarters.
