Daniel smiled at Sam, and squeezed her hand in return. "It's no problem, really," he said with a small shrug. He then turned, and listened to Tim speak. It was obvious by the grin on Fred's face he was right.
"Good job, Tim. Keep this up, and you'll become second at the lab," Fred said with a grin.
"Hey! I'm second at the lab!" Rodney protested before he roughly crossed his arms. "All of you are evil."
Laughing, Tim shook his head before telling them he was going to go find a laptop for them to use. While he was gone, Fred went to stand by her husband, and leaned against him just as her cell went off. Sighing, she fished it out of her pocket, and flipped it open.
"Hey, dad. Look, whatever Katie said...oh, it's not her causing problems, huh? I see," Fred said before she held the phone out for Emma. "Seems one of your little angels has done something wrong."
Rolling her eyes, Emma took the phone, and started to talk into it.
"Katie's our oldest," Fred said to Sam. "She's bright for her age, and likes to talk. She thinks everyone needs to know everything she knows, even if it's private." She then furrowed her brow. "Please tell me your reality's Fred has the same problem with one of her kids."
Soon, Tim returned with a laptop, and all of them went to work on hooking it up. Once they were finished, he powered the Gate up, and started to run the program. "You might want to stand closer to the Gate," he said to Sam.
