Tim was here too. Was he married to Jeannie in this reality? Fred had mentioned that her friend was married to the owner of the security company that worked for the museum, so that didn't sound like Jeannie at all. Sam decided not to ask and instead what and see.
While Fred disappeared to make another phone call, Sam saw the look on Daniel's face. "Seems like you don't get alone with Rodney here," she said.
"You can say that again," John snorted before he took another drink of his bear. He looked over at his friend. "I know the guy can be a nozzle, but you have to admit, he does know his stuff." He turned back to Sam. "They have this thing going on because Rodney refuses to admit that Daniel's doctorates are just as valid as his."
Sam nodded. "Sounds familiar."
Soon Tim had arrived - and to Sam's surprise, his wife ended up being Kat. Emma. Obviously, she had been raised with her parents and sister in this reality.
"It's...uh...nice to meet you," she said. "And yes...yes, I am. I know all of you in my reality, so this is a bit...strange to say the least."
"I bet," Tim said with a nod. "But Fred's done a lot of work with alternate realities, and if Sam Beckett's theories are part of this, I'll do what I can to help."
"Emma, she came by way of that Egyptian artifact the museum got from Catherine Langford," John told his sister-in-law. "The one everyone's thought is wall art."
"Really?" She frowned. "Wait. What?"
Shaking her head, Sam started explaining everything again. She knew she was breaking any number of Air Force and IOA secrecy rules, but at the moment, that didn't matter. The program didn't exist in this reality, and all she wanted was to get home.
