Ronon watched Max as she moved into a sitting position in front of him. He had a feeling that something was wrong from the way she was looking at her sleeping bag that went beyond her being locked out of her quarters again. So when she said that she had been fired, he wasn't overly surprised.
"Can't say that I'm sorry for that," he told her. "You're too nice to be working for Woosley and the other jerks at the IOA."
However, when she told him that the IOA had wanted her to kick him and the others from the Pegasus Galaxy out of the city, he felt a bit of anger start to rise inside, and he knew that if Woosley had been there, he would taken the stick to him.
Hard.
"Then I'm really glad you decided not to listen to him," her told her. "And if anyone gives you a hard time after this...tell them to come talk to me, okay?"
Sitting back, he crossed his arms, wanting to tell her that he was actually a bit glad that she had actually come to the city. She was the only one that didn't seem to treat him any differently. Of course, she hadn't known Jennifer. Besides, it wasn't her fault what had happened. He was sure Woosley could fool anyone into believing what he wanted as long as they weren't there.
"And no, this isn't something I do every night," he told her. He let out a bit of a growling sigh and shrugged. "Been hard to sleep since my wife died, so I figured I'm come down here and at least do something instead staring at the ceiling."
