Max laid on the floor and tried her best to fall asleep. She couldn't though since her mind was racing with everything that had happened. Everything Woosley had said to her kept replaying in her mind, no matter how hard she tried to block it out. The IOA had made a fool out of her. She knew she should've listened to General Landry, but she was so excited over getting her funding.
She was about to get up, and go for a walk, when she heard someone come into the main part of the gym. Max laid still, hoping not to be found. She closed her eyes, and tried hard not to move. However, when Max heard the stick clatter across the room, she stiffened a little. But when the person spoke, she relaxed a little.
It was Ronon. She didn't think she could deal with anyone else.
"Hi," she quietly said as she propped herself up on her elbows so she could look at him. She squinted her eyes against the light filtering in from the main part of the gym. "A little late for a workout, don't you think?"
