Caitlin opened her eyes when she heard Charlie and smiled. "Hey there," she said as she wrapped her arms around her daughter and hugged her tight. "How are you? You smell good."
"Papa give bath!" Charlie said before she kissed Caitlin on the cheek.
Laughing, Caitlin sat up on the bed and had Carson take Charlie before she got out of the bed. She then went to the bathroom and washed up before going out to the living room, where Erin jumped on her, telling her it was time to eat. "Thanks, angel," she said before helping her into her booster seat.
As they ate, they talked about what Erin was learning in school and how Doctor Pace had upset Maggie. Caitlin felt a little bad about not being there to greet her when she came through but they had already planned for them to have the day off so they could concentrate on their lessons. She supposed they would get to meet her in the morning.
After dinner, Caitlin took Erin to the bathroom to bathe her while Carson and Rodney packed an overnight bag for the girls. They didn't know if Kade would want them to do have a session that night and didn't want to wake the girls if they were already asleep.
Soon, Erin was ready and in her pajamas. Caitlin offered to take her to Jeannie and Tim's and, after the girls had kissed their fathers goodbye, Caitlin took them down the hallway and dropped them off. When she got back, she plopped down next to Carson.
"You ready for this? You should probably go wash your neck so it's nice and clean for Kade since obviously you're his favorite," she said with an amused look before she leaned over and nuzzled his neck.
