Daniel found himself plopping down on the flight lounge's couch. When Rodney made his comment toward Jack, he raised his eyebrows and snorted. "I wouldn't question Jack's motives while he has a P-90 nearby," he pointed out before he pulled his glasses off so he could clean the lens.
"He's right, you know," Jack muttered. "I'm sure Katie will eventually forgive me for shooting you."
With a small huff, Rodney said down next to Carson and gingerly crossed his arms. Soon, they were arriving back at Atlantis and the Daedalus teleported them to Operations before it went to land on the east pier. When they materalized, Sam, Fred, Radek and Cait were all standing there.
"John," Fred said as she went over to hug him. She coughed a little and pulled back. "Why do you smell like rotten eggs?"
"Zombie spit," Jack merely said.
"What?" Cait asked as she looked from her dad to her husbands. "Zombies?"
"The clones were guarded by these zombie-like creatures with no eyes. They hunted by sound and produced this mist from their bodies. That's probably why we smell like rotten eggs," Daniel explained.
"And one of them scratched me," Rodney said with a frown.
"Oh, sweetie," Cait said as she looked at his bandage.
"And your dad threatened to shoot me!" he added.
"Dad!" Cait scolded before she looked at her husbands. "Come on. I'll run a bath for the both of you."
Rolling his eyes, Jack glanced over at Sam. "You can debrief me in the morning. I'm going to take a long, hot shower and burn my clothes," he said before walking out of Operations.
