Fred and Cait looked at each other as both of them sat down to help Chuck look through the files. Closing her eyes, Fred took a deep breath when she sensed what John was seeing out in the water. Jennifer was gone. She wouldn't be coming back and Fred felt her chest tighten. She wanted nothing more than to run off and hide somewhere with her family but she knew she couldn't. They needed to find out what happened and why one of the jumpers suddenly exploded.
Looking at the screen, she pointed at it. "I think that's the file you need, Chuck," she quietly said. "We'll wait for Rodney to come back with his readings and compare them."
"Okay," Chuck whispered.
The three of them looked up when Ronon came in with Carson. Watching as Sam talked to him was the most difficult thing Fred had ever witnessed. She found herself looking down at her hands as tears filled her eyes. Ronon had lost his wife; Finn, Lis and Callie had lost their mother and all of them had lost a good friend.
Fred stood up from the chair and found herself walking toward Ronon. She sat down beside him as John and Daniel came back up from being out. "Ronon," she softly said as she reached over to lightly touch his shoulder. "Do you want one of us to get Finn, Lis and Callie? Or would you rather do it yourself?"
