When Carson opened up the curtain and Caitlin saw it was snowing out, she grinned. She loved snow and was one of the few people at the SGC that didn't complain about it. There was something beautiful and peaceful about snowfalls and she could sit by a window and watch it for hours. Turning around, she went to the coffee table and picked up the remote for the television. She turned it onto the local weather channel and watched the forecast.
"According to this we're supposed to get seven inches tonight," Caitlin said before she went over to where her spouses and daugher were standing. She looked at Erin and smiled. "If there's still snow on the ground in the morning I'll have your Daddy and Papa go out and get snowsuits for Charlie and you. Then you can play in it."
"Yay!" Erin said as she bounced in Rodney's arms.
Rodney chuckled and looked at Caitlin. "You made her day," he said with a grin.
"Mama! Up!" came Charlie's voice.
"I'm being beckoned," Caitlin said with a small laugh before going into the second bedroom. She got Charlie out of her crib and changed her diaper. Once she was finished, she took her out to the living room and over to the window.
"'Tatoes!" Charlie said as she pointed at the snow.
"They aren't potatoes, Charlie," Erin said as she reached over and patted her little sister's hand. "It's snow!"
Charlie seemed confused and looked at Carson. "Hi, Papa!" she said as she held out her arms. Caitlin handed their daughter over to Carson.
"What do you guys want for dinner?" she asked.
"Snow!" Charlie said with a nod.
