Carson leaned his head against Cait as they sat together. Rodney was right - doing what was best for Erin...and for Laura wasn't selfish. It was obvious that if Laura was ready to give up her parental rights that she felt she couldn't be a proper mother to her daughter after everything that had happened. And from what he understood, she - and Cameron Mitchell - had been through a lot. So while she put her life back together, it was best to give Erin the stability she needed.
And they knew that if Laura wanted to see her, they'd let her.
When Rodney remarked that Cait was making him cry, Carson reached up and realized he was a bit teary-eyed as well. He wrapped his arms around both of them when Rodney pulled them closer.
"Hey, can't blame me for loving my spouses so much I want to touch them," Carson said as he held them tightly.
"Yeah, but there's touching and then there's molesting."
Carson swatted him before giving him a kiss. "So when are you going to..."
"I'll contact Laura when we get back to the SGC and tell her what we decided. She said she had already talked to the attorney at Command, and she said she'll get everything together once made our decision."
