Caitlin brushed the snow off one of the benches and sat down. Looking over at her husbands, she snorted as they started to plummel each other with snowballs. She then sat back and looked down at their daughters. Erin was incredibly patient with Charlie and showed her how to put the snow on the little snow castle they were making.
"Tatoes!" Charlie suddenly said as she scooped up a handful of snow. Before Caitlin could stop her, Charlie shoved the snow in her mouth. She looked up at her mom and started to cry. "Cold, mama!"
Bending down, Caitlin picked the little girl up and used the sleeve of her jacket to wipe the tears off her cheeks. "It's okay, sweetie," she whispered as Charlie laid her head on her shoulder. Just then, Rodney announced he had subdued Carson and Caitlin looked over and laughed. "How about we go get your daddy and papa?"
"Yay!" Erin said as she stood up. She toddled over to her fathers as fast as she could and jumped on Rodney.
"Oh no! She got me!" Rodney said as he tolled off Carson with Erin in his arms.
Caitlin laughed before she placed Charlie on Carson's chest. The little girl looked down at her papa and pointed at her mouth. "Cold, Papa!" she whimpered before she laid on him and snuggled close.
"She thought the snow was potatoes and shoved some in her mouth," Caitlin explained to her husband.
