I really like Katy Perry and that damn "kissed a girl" song is awesome. Even my husband has been singing it. He sings "I kissed a Palmer and I liked it" (Palmer is my Maiden name) I called him today and he was rocking out to it and now it is stuck in my head...so here she is. She reminds me of Zooey.

I first heard of this little country darling when they began playing her song "Teardrops on my guitar" on the pop station here in Calgary. This is the Stampede city, so every station plays country. It's sad. Anyway, my boyfriend automatically hated the song because she sings about a boy named Drew - which is my boyfriend's name. I loved it and couldn't get enough of her.
Taylor (born December 13, 1989) is an American country music singer-songwriter. Signed to the independent Big Machine Records label in 2006, Taylor made her debut on the U.S. Billboard country charts with the release of her debut single "Tim McGraw".
Her self-titled debut album was released in late 2006, and has since been certified triple platinum by the RIAA in the United States. As of June 21, 2008 the album has sold 3,021,703 copies in the U.S and it has produced four Top Ten singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs, including the Number One single "Our Song"; four of her singles have also reached Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album was re-issued in 2008 with a set of bonus tracks.
This is one of my favorite songs by her. It's like the country version of Kelly Clarkson's Since you've been gone.

Girls Aloud are a girl group from England. They were on a show called Popstars Rivals. It's like Girlicious in the UK. They formed the group with five members: Cheryl Tweedy (who later married footie player, Ashley Cole), Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh and last but not least, my favorite, Nicola Roberts.
They have released 5 albums in the UK: Sound of the Underground, What will the neighbours say?, Chemistry, The sounds of Girls aloud greatest hits and Tangled up. Their latest album has got to be the best, I'm in love with it.
