Who: Dorcas Meadowes and all the single peoples
What: Singles Party for Valentines Day
Where: Some unused warehouse somewhere
When: Valentine's Day! Starting around 8pm
Status: IC/OOC Log!

Dorcas posted multiple times inviting the whole town to come, so feel free to comment with whether your character attended. Fair warning that while she didn't refuse to let known couples in, you were probably magically doused with water or something if you got too lovey dovey. (Sorry this post is lame, I have a sinus infection and feel kind of like death atm)

Who: Kimberly and Joan watson
What: Out for coffee
When: soon after this
Where: The Cafe
Warnings: TBD

Kimberly signed off the messenger and grabbed her coat and bag, her morpher in one of the side pockets. She'd yet to see any reason to use it since arriving (a relief to be honest), but she didn't want to need it and not have it, especially when it was just her.

She really had no intention at first of having coffee with the woman, but the invitation didn't seem a bluff and frankly, the more people she knew in this place the better she'd feel. Being alone in a strange world always unnerved her, getting to know the locals (or not locals) usually helped in that regard. Plus, the woman-from what she'd read-seemed to have a no nonsense manner about her, as well an edge-hopefully talking to her would lead to some inward stability.

Also, maybe being away from Zordon or mom had her seeking a mentor figure.

Either way, it was only a ten minute walk from the Apartment towers to the cafe. Something hot in this weather was definitely looking like a good idea.

Who: Kimberly Hart, Open (multiple threads welcome)
What: Job Hunting, exploring
Where: Anywhere you'd think a teenage girl would job hunt
When: Monday morning
Ratings/Warnings: most likely low.

Several days into her stay here, Kimberly figured it was time to start looking for a job. As much as she hated to admit it, she was probably going to be here awhile and needed a way to earn a paycheck, not to mention a schedule for something to do. She wasn't Billy, she couldn't just make a portal machine out of spare parts.

Never mind that she was told it wouldn't help. It would've been something.

It was a quick breakfast at Granny's (not the juice bar, but homey enough), before she set her mind to looking for a job, with no more of a plan than to  go but down mainstreet and work her way through the shops.  As much as ranger duty and gymnastics took up a lot of her time, she was glad to say she wasn't totally inexperienced: she'd done a lot of volunteer work and earned some money tutoring in music and dance lessons-that had to count for something on a job application.

Being who she was, Kimberly also couldn't help but look through the shop windows of this store or that, looking at the displays. She was practical enough to know not to buy anything when all she had was a loan (not even an allowance), but a girl could wish after all.
