Will shook his head a little at the guiltshamefear, but he also knew that those were Riley's emotions, and she needed to feel them. Hopefully she would feel them less with the love and support of her cluster, but he couldn't take them away from her either. Instead he kissed the top of her head, and willed her troubled thoughts to rest if they could. He didn't want to stay there in the hospital either; they had catching up to do, and they needed to go see Wolfgang too eventually. It would be nice to have a moment with her in person that didn't involve danger or unconsciousness.
He smiled and put an arm around her shoulders, and glanced around to see if any of his possessions were there. "No, I came through passed out already. Exactly as the last time you saw me, probably." Will gingerly tried out his feet, and they were working fairly well. He was a cop, he had endurance training. He healed faster than most. He leaned some of his weight on her, but the majority of it was staying stable for now. "Let's hope if Nomi arrives they don't take her here. She won't respond well to that at all." And for good reason.
Between the two of them they managed to get out of the hospital, and Will almost immediately felt relief at smelling fresh air. It was an illusion of freedom, since they were stuck, but a happy one at least. After a pause, smiling at this odd little town, he turned his attention over to her. "Hey ...." His lips deepened into a grin. "This means I can take you out for a real date. Not pretend in a bar while we're worlds apart." He hadn't given himself a chance to think about dates when they'd just been trying to survive before.
