"I'm fine," Will assured her. "Honestly it's been awhile since I've had a good night's sleep, so...." He smiled to show that he was joking, although it was on the nose joking. He hadn't wanted to sleep much lately. He kept wondering if they were all just part of his dreams, but for whatever reason, Will never went straight to the 'I'm crazy' option. That's probably what most people would assume in their experience, but instead he found himself wanting to see them again. In the early days, it was accidental meetings. He was only now getting used to it being so close and easy.
Love, he said, and he meant. It was one of the truest things he ever felt. Will wasn't the type to fall in love easily. He wasn't sure he'd been in love, not like this. Nothing could compare to this. They knew everything about each other and nothing at all, and he could only smile at her, his heart in his eyes. He would keep offering her that happy ending until she started to believe it. But they weren't exactly in happy ending territory right now, considering they were in a strange world and cut off from the others. He nodded when she explained about Wolfgang, satisfied that he recognized the right member of their cluster. He remembered the last moment he shared with the thief, when he charged Whispers' plane for them. Hopefully that didn't need to happen again!
"Not here. I don't think ... he's not talking to me." Will rubbed a hand through his short hair and shook his head. "I don't feel him. But we can't assume that's permanent." He was going to have to pay close attention and they might need to make a secondary plan if that changed. He wasn't going to let Whispers get his cluster. He slowly sat up and moved his legs to the side of the bed, facing her. "Are you okay? Things were pretty rough on that mountain." He knew what an understatement that was.
