Sharon had changed her clothes three times. She wasn't proud of it but no matter what she wore, it didn't seem right. Then again, how do you prepare to see the only person you've ever loved after thinking you'd never see them again? Finally, she had settled on a simple blue sundress and leather jacket. Then she waited. Sitting on her couch, she idly flipped through one of her textbooks.
"Coming!" she called out when he knocked on her door. Taking her time to walk to the door, she took a few breaths before opening it. "Hello."
It nearly took her breath away how little he had changed since the last time she had seen him. When they had gone running, she had noticed it but tried to not think too much about it. She still hadn't been sure on where they stood.
Things were a little bit clearer then they were then. She couldn't keep from smiling as she stepped out of her apartment and locked the door. "You look nice. Very handsome." Almost on instinct, she reached up to adjust the collar of his jacket.
