Does anyone have any non-alcohol related sleep remedies? I have been having the worst dreams lately.

It's very strange actually thinking about Christmas. I have so many more people to buy gifts for this year and actually have time to think about gifts. It's bizarre. It will be weird not going home to see my mum though.

You know... a long time ago, back when I was a boy and dinosaurs roamed the earth, it was illegal for stores to have any sort of Christmas display prior to Thanksgiving. These days no one seems to really care about Thanksgiving. The stores I've been into have had Christmas stuff up as soon as Halloween ended. It's the little things that constantly amaze and occasionally make me frown.

So if anyone from Beacon Hills is wondering, home still blows. But there still aren't vampires, so this place is still higher on the 1-10 scale of strange. I do know what a nogitsune, kitsune, and oni are now. They also blow, except the kitsune. Or one of them.

I'm making six frozen pizzas and bought a ton of legos. I'm building lego everything and not thinking about home at all.

I got an ant-farm! This is AWESOME. There are NOT enough science books at the library or used bookstore though. I did find a really nice journal for my ant farm and a pen to go with it.

If I'm going to be here I should get a job. I have no skills beyond getting things out of high places and a lifetime spent around heroes. Is there somewhere that needs a slightly underage employee? I can be a lot taller if that helps?

I'm neither condoning nor endorsing. But I seem to remember someone mentioning a paintball battle, and I also seem to have found a place that ships supplies in bulk at a discount. Should someone who used to be on my team and currently lives in my apartment have any interest in things I in no way condone.

I spend my days glowering at teenagers who resent me and live with a younger, more attractive man I moved in with after a week. I feel like I should complete the picture of bland midlife crisis by learning to fish or play golf. But considering that means I would have to fish or golf, I'll pass and assume the car completes the picture.

Come have dinner tomorrow. I want to keep checked in, even with nothing going on. And a night where Fitz has no access to caffeine or liquor while in his lab sounds like a good idea.

I have no actual job experience. I've never had one back home, unless you count being a victor and the Mockingjay. But those don't count here, and I'm glad they don't.

I miss my butler, Jervis. And having lots of money to shop. I hate admitting that because it's not something I'd normally do ~ the shopping part at least.

Also apart from dogs and cats, the animals in this world are really boring and less intelligent than most Pokemon. Yet the trainers here are still getting mauled and bitten on a constant basis.

And I can't cook.

Your animals are all so small here! Especially the birds and domestic cats! It's so strange.

You know, a kitten or a puppy would make perfect Valentine's Day presents for you and your significant other!


Someone has to adopt them soon or I'm going to have an apartment full of animals and I'm pretty sure there's a law against that sort of thing. I can't help it though ~ I just can't get enough of these little ones!

I don't think I'll ever be completed used to this place. It's so different from what I know back home. I still don't understand or trust how everyone is so nice. It's not all bad, though. There's a place to hunt and I've made some pretty good friends. And it's not like there's a whole lot left for me in 12.

Hello, my name is Cynthia and I'm a new arrival to your little town. When the portal brought me through it shorted out all four of my poké balls. I was able to locate my Lucario, thanks to a wonderful new friend, Sam. However, we can't seem to find the other three of my pokemon. They go by:

Glaceon, Garchomp, Togekiss

If anyone has seen them, please, do let me know? They're not dangerous creatures unless they are attacked. They might be scared, and not answer to you or get close, but any information on their whereabouts would help greatly. Also, are there any shelters in town that I could check out? They might have ended up there.

I remember a time in my life where the concept of adding both vanilla flavoring and cherry to cola kind of freaked me out. Now it's kinda like: oh, man, angels and demons exist? Yeah. Of course.
