I miss Chicago at Christmas time. Prettiest place in the world. All the lights and the snow. Cold as can be, but beautiful.

And Christmas is just after the days start getting longer, so you can't go wrong

I think we should all do something for Christmas here. Something special.

So, Halloween is pretty much the best holiday. I've got my list of costumes narrowed down to 3. I know, amazing, right? Especially considering that so many of the options I could find are actual real life people here. Or maybe that helped me narrow it down a bit more.

Under 25s
So, party? It's getting a bit cold to have another one at the beach. Maybe we should see about renting out one of the bars or something? Or seeing if there's some other large building we could use? I don't know. But I don't especially want to freeze, you know?

It has come to my attention that I need to keep in shape. I know some of the warrior types have their thing out in the woods so how about us wizard types? We could start up a dueling club just like in Harry Potter. It would give us a chance to stay in shape by practicing our magic while at the same time testing the differences in our magics. Worst case scenario we blow something up and form a new rip in the time/space continuum.

I'm kidding about that last part.

Really. I am.

Right. So.

This is an...alternate universe sort of place. Not the Nevernever, but...a place that draws people from all different universes and dimensions. And apparently, from fiction...or from...universes where fiction is reality?

And there are all sorts of supernatural things here. Vampires, werewolves, wizards, witches, superheroes, faeries, not to mention the Winter Knight and the Winter Lady.

Just...wow.

It's almost as weird as the Nevernever.
