I see a lot of people talking about their shows not being on anymore and I'm really kind of hoping that applies to mine. I mean, I'm not sure how much worse it could possibly get and I'm kind of curious to know if Katherine actually dies (but probably not, because she's like a Timex), but it would be a relief not to have to deal with whatever is going on at home anymore.

Especially when most of it is just really ~~confusing~~ depressing.

Right, so, maybe I'm thinking ahead, but I can't help but think that we're only a week or so from New Year's, too. And the beginning of a new year. ~~I can't believe it's almost 2014~~ So, what resolutions do people here have? What things about your current lives do you want to change? What things do you want to do better next year? And saying that you want to leave this place doesn't count - only include things you can actually do something about.

And also...shouldn't we have a New Year's Party? Christmas is for family, but New Year's is for getting together with friends.

So the community college here isn't bad, but I was thinking it might be really interesting if some of us from different worlds could get together for like...discussion groups. To learn about where everyone else comes from, to compare belief systems and the like. Nothing formal, of course, just maybe a meeting in the library every week. I think it would be great if we could all get to know each other a bit better, and I think we have a great deal to learn from each other.

I really love the fall. It's colder than Mystic Falls, but it's still so pretty here. The colors are gorgeous.

I still haven't quite figured out a costume for myself. Bonnie, Elena, have you? If not, I demand shopping! And lunch! We can make it a girls day! And I kind of want to carve a pumpkin. I'm feeling oddly nostalgic. Oh I want candy apples.
