The katana was an extension of his soul. Even in the flower shop, the weight at his hip never truly ebbed. It stayed with him.

Out on the field, the heaviness of the bugnuks never left him. With each kick of the ball, he sliced into his opponents.

He felt more exposed with a bare wrist, than he ever did naked. The garrote did much to ground him, but it never was enough.

The tapping of fingers on a keyboard sounded like darts against steel, metallic raindrops that never ended. With each person he researched, he signed their death warrant.

Who would have thought that Schwarz would harbor so many superstitions!  They win last week’s prompt challenge with 20 points.  Weiss doesn’t get off that easy though, they come in at 10 points.  Schreient doesn’t have time for such things – they are working on Masafumi’s latest superstition.
