Hiatus + Prompt #91

While I am preparing for an extremely busy next three weeks, I am going to put this asylum on hiatus - probably until the end of April.

So, until we come back, your prompt is #91 - Alternate Universe 2

Go nuts!

Mar. 30th, 2009

Prompt #90

Okay, last week, I completely forgot to post.  I would use all the enormous amounts of schoolwork as an excuse, but I was probably just forgetful and having fun.

So, back on track again.  A couple weeks ago, Schwarz held the trophy out of reach of Weiss and Schreient with sticky fingers and 10 points.

This week's prompt is #90 - Unromantic

During a nice dinner for two does Ken let out a long belch?  Are a gift of flowers for a florist considered a bit tacky and unromantic? Does Schuldig have garlic breath?  Does Omi serenade his love with his very poor singing?  Are Yohji's cigarettes just too unromantic for you?  Could Crawford care less about a little romance?

No matter the character or situation, make them unromantic in just 100 words.

To the Soul

Title: To the Soul
Characters/Pairings: Farfarello and who ever else you want to see there
Team: Schwarz
Rating: PG (on the safe side)
Word Count: 100

There are older ones, faded and white from time. Newer ones--some still healing, others bright pink against pale skin. Holes, lines, tears all bits and pieces that were once a part of him now define him more so than others.

He no longer feels the pain that comes with these new marks that caress his skin. He does however feel the hot tongue that glides over them, mapping out even the tiniest lines. He feels it in his soul. And this is when he is truly alive, lost in the sensation of touch that only his lover may bring.

Prompt #89

No points were awarded for last week.

This week's prompt is #89 - Touch

This prompt can be used in so many ways. Think about how many items you handle during the day. Think about touch in as limited or as broad a context as you'd like. Keep in mind that if you pervert the prompt and it gets explicit, you should place it behind a cut with proper warnings.

Does Aya think about the feel of leather? Does Schuldig hesitate to touch a child with a runny nose? How does Crawford compare the weight of the gun to the feel of punching someone in the nose? Does Farfarello miss touching things when he is strapped in? How do the different flowers feel in the shop? Does Ken keep the girls at a distance because he dislikes being pinched?

No matter where you take the sense of touch, however, you must write it in 100 words.

Prompt #88

During the last power failure, Schuldig made off with the trophy for his team with 10 points.  Weiss and Schreient were not quick enough to stop him!

This week's prompt is #88 - Tabloid Fodder

Top Rosenkreuz Official has Alien Baby!  Tokyo's Water Supply Infested with Mutant Genes!  Jei Farfarello Opens the Sacred Church of Pain! Schuldig Fighting Baldness - Wig Cover-Up Unveiled!  Soccer Star Kicked Off Team! Top Host Club Under Investigation for Chainsaw Murders!

Tabloids - some people read them, some believe them, and others just look at the headlines in the supermarket line.  One juicy story and the subject is swarmed with paparazzi!

Whether Crawford has an illegitimate love child; Asuka is back from the dead (like Elvis); Omi is accused of being anorexic; Yohji is doing strange things in drug rehab; Nagi has an alien lover - no matter what the tabloid fodder, you must write it in just 100 words!

Dammit, Meg!

Prompt #87

No points were awarded last week.

This week's prompt is #87 - Power Failure

Dead batteries, tripped fuses, caffeine crash – there are so many reasons to have a power failure.

Does Nagi have issues upgrading the security system and manages to blow all the lights in the complex? Ken have problems getting his bike started and have face the humiliation to walk it to town? Crawford just can’t get going without that cup of java? Did Aya and Yohji get stranded during a weather related outage? Schuldig forget to pay the electric bill?

Regardless of the juice that runs the machine, show us all the glory of a power failure to that machine in just 100 words.

Prompt #86

Last week, Schuldig used his telepathy to help his team win the trophy with 20 points! Weiss was the unlucky recipient of the mental mischief and are still trying to sort out what hit them - at least Farfarello was busy elsewhere, eh? Meanwhile, Schreient have been over in the corner snickering at the plight of pregnant men and those doomed to serve them.

This week's prompt is #86 - Persia*

Who is the man behind Kritiker? What are his hopes, dreams, fears?

Does he have any hobbies? Is there a 6-foot stuffed marlin on his wall to commemorate a deep-sea fishing expedition, or does he prefer his fish safely on the plate? Does he indulge in quieter hobbies - does he collect stamps?

How did he become the head of the organization? How does he feel about lying to Omi - or anyone else? How does Weiss feel about him? Is he in love with Manx? What are his feelings toward the rest of his family?

And speaking of family, how does Omi - er, Mamoru - adapt to the role of Persia when it falls upon his shoulders? That counts too.

Whether Persia is the subject or the narrator, write him in only 100 words!

It Really Is All In His Head

Title: It Really Is All In His Head
Challenge: MPREG
Characters: ¾ of Weiß and half of Schwarz  :3

Team: Schwarz
Word count: 100

Aya frowned. “Go on.”

Omi shrugged. “I can’t explain it, but all the symptoms are there, Aya. I’ve got morning sickness, weird cravings – and just today, Momoe said I seem to have a glow about me.”

Aya shook his head. “That’s impossible. Men can’t get pregnant.”

“Well, he did land in all those weird chemicals at Masafumi’s place,” Yohji observed.

+ + + + +

“You’re going to Hell, you know that, right?”

Schuldig grinned and offered Farfarello another Pocky stick. “Serves the brat right, surfing pornographic fanfic when he’s supposed to be working.”

“The old lady was a nice touch.”

“I thought so, yeah…”

KFC, anyone?

Title: KFC, anyone?
Characters/Pairings: Farfarello. Nagi.
Team: Schwarz.
Rating: PG just because it's weird.
Word Count: 100.
Author's Notes: My mom ate a lot of KFC when she had me. She inspired this.

Prompt #85

It figures that Schwarz would take the trophy home just because Schuldig has a penchant for being late.  His tardiness earned them the 10 points they needed.  Aya would never let any of his team walk in late and Schreient refuse to even consider the idea.

This week's prompt is #85 - MPREG

Yes, yes, I know!  We've all read our share of it and some of us have even written it (you know who you are!), but can you MPREG one of our favorite male victims characters in just 100 words?

Would Schuldig get the worst cravings imaginable?  Would Yohji rub Aya's aching feet?  Is Farfarello just a right bitch during delivery?  Would Crawford pay someone else to have his baby...maybe Ken? Is Omi having twins? Have the women stopped by the bar to discuss the latest trials with their pregnant men?  And who is the baby's daddy??

No matter who, no matter how, get the guys pregnant this week!  Just keep it to 100 words!

Title: Impatience.
Characters/Pairings: Crawford. Schuldig.
Team: Schwarz.
Rating: G. Also R for ridiculous.
Word Count: 100.
Author's Notes: I was as excited as he was when I got mine..

Prompt #84

No points were awarded last week.

This week's prompt is #84 - Late

This week, make the characters late for something, anything - a meeting, a date, lunch, etc.

Is Omi waiting on Ken again?  Does Yohji make being late a habit?  Does Aya wake up late for his first mission?  Is Schuldig late for a very important date?  How does Crawford deal with latecomers? Is Farfarello late on purpose or principle?

Who will be late this week?  Write it in just 100 words.

Prompt #83

No points were awarded for last week.

This week's prompt is #83 - Birman

Who is this woman who now is the bridge between Weiss and Kritiker?  Where did she learn defensive driving (it sure paid off against the likes of Farfarello!)?  How does she feel about Weiss?  Is it difficult to work with Aya's aloofness?  Does Yohji compare her to Manx in the attractiveness department?  Does she miss Botan?  What are her goals and ambitions?

Give us Birman in only 100 words!

Jan. 26th, 2009

Prompt #82

Brad Crawford is gloating over his team's taking of last week's trophy - but then, when isn't he gloating? Schwarz showed up, dropped 20 points, and snuck off with the thing, leaving the florists and femme fatales wondering where it went.

This week's prompt is #82 - Illness

The trials and furies of evildoers and heroes alike must pause while simple human frailty has its way.

Ever met a tough guy who gets a cold and acts like he's dying? Who's the bigger baby - Ken, or Farfarello? Is Tot adorably pathetic with chicken pox? Does Schön avoid her like, well, the plague?

Do the men of Weiß dote on Momoe when she gets the sniffles?

What if it's serious?

What if it's one of Masafumi's experiments? o_O;;;;;

No matter the source, no matter the cure, make someone sick this week in 100 words. Then please, do us all a favor...wash your hands.  ~_^

[And a special shout-out from your friendly co-mod: May yohjideranged get some relief from the massive pwnage endured this weekend! I've got your back, babe.]

Language Barrier

Title: Language Barrier
Challenge: Letter
Character: Schuldig and Nagi

Team: Schwarz
Word count: 100
A/N: Does Nagi really not know, or is he pwning Schuldig being difficult? You decide.  ~_^

Nagi stared blankly at the paper, then pointed at one of the letters.

“It’s an umlaut,” Schuldig explained. “It makes the letter sound – well, sort of like it has an ‘r’ after it.”

Nagi frowned, unwilling to try saying it.

Schuldig sighed and scrubbed a hand over his face. His brain ached with the kid’s constant mental stream of what, to him, looked just like bird scratchings. “You don’t even write with letters, do you. How the hell am I going to teach you German if you don’t even have an alphabet? Scheiße!”

Nagi perked up. “

“…Close enough.”

*(That's “shiāisa” in katakana.)

Title: Bereft
Challenge: Letter
Character: Manx

Team: Schwarz
Word count: 100

That you are reading this letter means two things have happened: I have died, and you have remained behind. For the latter, I bless you. For the first, I beg your forgiveness.

I wish I could have given you my sole devotion, that we could have perhaps raised Omi as our own son. But the fates were not so inclined. The moment we agreed to our task, to serve society by being its defender, we sacrificed any future we may have had together.

For that, too, I beg your forgiveness. You – and he – deserved so much better.

Takatori Shuichi

Prompt #81

No points were awarded for last week.

This week's prompt is #81 - Letter

Writing, reading, delivering - email would even be acceptable for this prompt. I don't even mind if you use letter format!

Has Yohji received another email from Schuldig?  Did Farfarello receive some fan mail from his fan club? Is Nagi writing hate mail again?  Has Aya finally had enough of his job and is delivering his letter of resignation?  Does Manx have in a keepsake box her first ever love letter from an admirer?

No matter what kind of letter it is, who writes it or receives it, or even who delivers it - tell us all about it in just 100 words.

Prompt #80

You know, I really wouldn't have thought that Schwarz would be that merciful!  Especially with Schuldig on the team!  They won last week's prompt with 10 points!!

This week's prompt is #80 - Insanity

Oh, come on, this one's easy!  Besides, you've always wanted to do it.  You know, drive a character insane?  It's so tempting to just push them over the edge.  Give them a little nudge and watch them descend into madness.

Well, now is your chance!

Sure, Schuldig can be a little crazy, but is he one step closer to the edge of madness than we think?  Ken - now there's one that is probably insane already!  Maybe it's just the quiet ones.  Speaking of quiet, Aya certainly has some issues that might push him over that cliff.  But Farfarello, hmm...he could be really scary -  especially after hanging around.

Omi probably walks that fine line between reality and insanity.  Yohji definitely has issues with identity - Asuka? Neu?

Whoever the character, whatever the situation, whatever the madness, make them insane in just 100 words. MWAHAhahahaa! *ahem*

I apoloogize for bieing a day late with the prompt.  My weekend didn't go so well and I completely forgot that yesterday was Monday.

Title; Killer Instinct
Characters/Pairings; Schuldig.
Team; Schwarz.
Rating; G.
Word Count; 100.
Author's Notes; If you've never seen Resevoir Dogs you might not catch the reference.

Schuldig isn't very good at torture )

Just as an irrelevant side-note, Schuldig would be a great rock star. He's got the hair down. Now all he needs is a drug addiction & some spandex..
