New comicker needs feedback?
Hello!
I'm quite new in this webcomic business and I have a little comic of my own.
Let me count the ways is a comic about two girls in their late teens/early twenties. Ruby and Robin are flatmates and although we don’t get to know where - sometimes it seems like it must be an asylum - we certainly get to know how they spend their time:
With fandom.
Both love their fandoms (Doctor Who, Harry Potter, etc.) and are equally mad about them, though not in the same ways.

I’d love to hear what you think about my concept, the style, the format, anything. :D

Thats lovely, I like the style and the colour, and I like the rhyming couplets.

Really some of the humor is rather lost on me, because their fandoms aren't mine. As well as some I wouldn't get without reading the description at the bottom. Maybe it's just me, but I think comic commentary should be an accent, not the punchline, so to speak. The Ragdoll one(08/08/07) for instance, wouldn't been MUCH clearer if you just added and off-screen "flush" sound effect in the first panel.

Anyway, that was just my impression, anyway. You don't really have to follow my advice, but good luck either way. :)

Thanks for the advice. I wouldn't have thought of adding a sound effect. And that's why I posted here - someone who maybe sees it from a different angle. :D
