*hugs tight* I know how you feel. That speech made me cry too, as did Sirius (and when I found out Snape killed Dumbledore, as well). Just the idea of George without Fred hurts, I can't read anything past the page before his 'death'...and you can forget the epliogue and next generation stuff, it just seems like a moot point if Fred's not there to be a part of it. I can't even read it.
You're right, fic and RP do give them the love they deserve. That's why I love the twins and Pansy so much...JKR gave us these one-dimensional character stereotypes for them, and I just really enjoy digging deeper into their personalities, finding out what makes them tick, giving them layers that make them really come to life. Losing Fred in DH was like losing a good friend to me, as he's been my loudest and strongest muse for going on two years now.
