Any journal/community that has shown no activity for 6 months or more. Also, any journal showing no activity before XMAS of the previous year.
Journals/Communities to be assimilated must have at least one commentable post. If entry is friends only the collective is not responsible for this and it will be assimilated anyway. Further, journals/communities with friends only posts that are not visible are still subject to assimilation; shyness is irrelevant.
To find the date a journal was last updated go the the "user info" page and click on "additional information"; then it will be listed. This should be at least 30 weeks ago for it to be assimilated successfully.
Drones should leave a comment whenever possible...we are Borg but we're still fair...mostly.
Assimilation Comment: we_r_borg. We have assimilated this abandoned journal. Resistance is futile.
Journals who resist may escape and be taken off of the assimilated journals list and should not be annoyed severely unless they make it plain that they wish to RP being pursued. Thus, we are not breaking any rules of IJ by simply commenting.

| 08:38 pm - What does it mean if my journal/community has been assimilated?
Assimilating journals and communities serves no purpose other than our entertainment.
This is essentially a role-playing community where we seek out journals and communities that have not been used for six months or longer and post a comment (If there is a place to post one on the journal) saying we have assimilated it. We then return to we_r_borg and note our assimilation.
In the event we have assimilated a journal or community that was merely in suspended animation, just reply to our comment or comment here. That is the only method of "escape."
We hope no one is offended. This is all in fun and is not meant to offend or upset anyone.
