Puppy Toys! (open)

Late at night, under the light of the full moon, he was out on the prowl. A new place meant the possibility of new prey. He liked new prey. It kept his hunting skills sharp. Tonight wasn’t about feeding; he just wanted to get to know his new home.

He liked the park. It had a nice open area for running and trees for him to use for cover while stalking his prey. His human half actually liked it when he went running. He could actually feel Larry’s joy as he ran full speed across the park. Places like this made it good to be a wolf.

Or at least a wolf man. )

When the Wolfsbane Blooms (narrative/open)

Lawrence Talbot groaned softly as consciousness slowly returned to him. It was always hard waking up on these mornings. He felt as if he had been awake all night, which for all he knew, he had been. He never really remembered those nights, which was probably a blessing. He did have nightmares about screaming.

Larry sat up and looked around, blinking the remainder of the sleep out of his eyes. He had no idea where he was. That was nothing new. Quite often on these mornings, he woke up in a strange, unknown place. He did a quick check of himself, pleased to find nothing unusual or bloody. Which he took as a good sign that meant he probably hadn’t been killed this time.

He got to his feet. )
