John moved in and paused at the door, listening. He could just barely hear movement inside, so he knew that the other was within. Tilting his head he gazed at the door for a long moment, then rolled his eyes and shoulders, knocking twice shortly before twisting the knob. He let the door swing open casually, folding his denim jacket covered arms over his chest as he moved forward just enough to lean against the frame.
"Evening," he nodded to the other, breathing out the last of the air needed for the word before he went silent and still. He was in a relaxed state, apart from the slight anxiety of waiting for Eric's reaction.
