Bane's arms crossed over his chest as he stood there, looking at what he could not quite see. There was just a shadow where the Bat was, and that shadow moved fluidly as the Bat did. He imagined that the movement was to make sure that Bane wouldn't know a precise location if the intent here was to make a move. The funny thing was that Bane didn't want to make a move of any kind. He wanted the Bat to see the surprise that was coming.
His eyes narrowed a little bit more. This version of the Bat knew who he was, but clearly not all of it, if the thought was that he would stand and proselytize. Bane was not one for revealing his plans ahead of time, or detailing out every step. He was one for explaining it when it was already too late to do anything, at times.
"You're a bigger fool than your compatriots." He shook his head. "There's no wrongdoing you'll find from me from the moment I stepped foot within this city to now. I certainly have no plan for the future that I'll be sharing with you."
He wasn't counting the prison escape, since it hadn't been his doing, but the dinosaurs.
