John noticed the blush, and a small grin stretched his lips till he flashed his pearly teeth.
"No need to fret. I found my way here," he said. He blinked at the news about Aidan, and shook his head. "Unfortunately I haven't seen him here yet, but thanks for letting me know," he said.
He grimaced slightly about the mention of the dopplegangers. He knew that they were essentially the same people as his sire and elder sibling, but they seemed as wary of him as he was of them, and their presence only seemed to highlight his inadequacies as a fledgling of the species. And, possibly, the absence of the family member they'd lost. Still, he wasn't one to get too downhearted about the situation. And he'd been working on improving himself in case they did take an interest in him.
"Yeah, I met the other Pam when I first started exploring the City," he said, scratching the back of his neck. "I guess I didn't offend her enough to get myself offed, though, we haven't talked much otherwise."
He tilted his head, walking a step closer but minding and respecting Melody's space. "How have you been? The new surroundings aren't too bad of an upgrade, huh?"
