Chemistry was not his forte. He was good at it when he had to be, much like inventing, but it was not his strongest suit of cards when it came to antiing up. Every scratch and scribble he wrote were all of he formulas he could think of to every chemical based drug he was familiar with. He had spent a lot of time in countries where pharmaceuticals weren't always readily available and one had to think on the fly and use what was present more often than not. It was not as primitive here, thankfully, but the knowledge was still valuable.
Finally he set his pencil down, having dumped all that he could on to the page. He had written small so as to get all of it. The next step was putting it together, mixing it up and testing it out, and for that he would need help. He would need Agent Peggy Carter and he hoped the woman could be coaxed into assisting him. If not for the interest than for the life she would be helping to save.
Lifting his head, Bruce turned and looked over at the woman currently curled up on his couch. The television light touched her skin and her eyes, it washed over her light colored hair. He might need more blood but something was telling him she would give it if he asked. This was lookin promising but he didn't want to get her hopes up yet. Not yet. But soon.
Finally he turned and moved back to the couch. Settling down, he returned his attention to the movie for a moment. It was nearing its end and part of him was glad for it. The other part wanted it to last forever because that meant she would stay and they could keep pretending to be normal.
This seemed so mundane though and he didn't know why. One minute a movie and pizza seemed like a great idea and now that he looked at it it seemed like not enough. The apartment felt a bit stuffy and empty at the same time. "Would you like to walk outside with me and get some air?" He needed some and he would go with or without her.
