Liv took an alarmed step back, a bit of her sandwich fell out and onto the grass. The City brains must have already started their magic because, in spite of being surprised by the arrival of the dinosaurs, she wasn't really surprised by the dinosaurs and was far too willing to just run with it. Just like a local. If they weren't trampling her, she wasn't going to give them much thought.
No, Liv's concern was the bit of dirty sandwich in the grass that she bent down to retrieve and stuff in her pocket to make sure no one got too good of a look at what she was eating.
"No," she mumbled. "I work here. I was just on my lunch break when everything moved again."
She stood up with a sigh: "Now I'm going to be late."
At least this City native wasn't as bland as the last one. Still, incredibly bland but apparently this brain also liked to be punctual. That was at least something.
