It wasn't the satisfying sensation of climbing out of the hole and seeing the world for the first time, but glimpsing the city beyond the broken prison wall was quite the experience.
This was not the broken world that he had seen last. Bane had known this as soon as he had seen the walls of the prison, because no structure there had been as complete and sound as this one, and there had been no prison to be put in. But it still hit him as a bit of a wonder that he had been transported once again without his knowledge or consent. He moved with Brant to the opening and then out of it while he thought on this. First from Gotham, then from the ruined world and Sanctuary. Brandt had been moved as well, from a world entirely different from his own, to a second place that Bane had never seen. They were like toys at the whim of cosmic toddlers.
The water that surrounded the island they were on lapped at the edges of the rock. It was as an ocean, yet Bane could see an end to it. He would have to explore it more, but he would have bet money that he was seeing a wall. Strange. Bane did not point it out to Brandt. Now was not the time to stand around ruminating on what might be out there. They needed to make their escape fully before they could think on the world as a whole. Find a place to build their plant the seeds of their ideas and grow them into fruition.
"Hit the alarm button." Bane instructed. The one that went off would be the car they were looking for. He had faith that it would cause no more commotion than the dinosaurs crashing through the walls.
