Through the broken wall, Brandt looked out to that freedom. It appeared they were on an island. The City was beyond. They needed to start moving, before they lost the element of surprise. Surely there had to be a bridge connecting this island to the city beyond. Cars or vans must be nearby. He had never learned to swim; in land-locked Libria, there was no logical call for it. Still, the theory of swimming was easy enough to understand, and he had confidence in his body to make the journey. Swimming wasn't his first choice, however.
Brandt looked at the keys in his hand. One of them seemed to be a passenger vehicle. He glanced at the key fob that went with it. Employee parking would be the easiest to get into - less security, or at least that's what would make the most sense. He tossed the keys once in the air and caught them.
"Let's get moving, then," he said, and headed outside.
