Nodding when he claimed the wall as their own, Leeloo accepted that this was where they would meet. How often? She didn't know yet. But he surprised her with that last bit.
"I didn't know that," she said, lifting her head. "Why did you never tell me before?" There had been many times she would have preferred to call out to him to bring him to her. The concept wasn't that much different from what she did when she needed Peter - but she hadn't known that she could do it with Eric, too. It made her feel warm, to know that he would come if she called to him. To show her appreciation, she squeezed his arm and dropped her head back against him. "I like that," she said, to make it clear.
They had so much to catch up on. She wondered how he had been spending his time in the city. She wanted to tell him everything about what she'd been doing, what she'd learned, how she'd settled in - but there was so very much, and it would take them quite a long time to share it all.
Leeloo found that she was looking forward to it, more eagerly than she'd imagined she would. A bright smile settled on her lips and refused to leave.
