Tony glanced over his shoulder, and at once could tell he'd disappointed Annie. The look in his eye softened to one of the most alien emotions to him; regret. He wanted to rip this man limb from limb, to annihilate him so utterly nobody would be able to find a trace of him, but....
There were too many people, and Tony didn't know enough about this man's abilities to risk the civilians. There was far too much blood on his hands from his irresponsible days, days when not caring about crossfire destroyed more lives than anybody could imagine. Tony couldn't forget them, and he'd never be able to live with himself if he brought more suffering to people he should have been protecting.
"Next time I see you, Nigma, you won't be walking away. I don't care if I have to drop Stark Tower on you. It'll be an image for the City to consider. So maybe run along back to your lawyer and get your affairs in order."
