"That's handy." Eric liked having handy people about. He liked collecting the different. He'd been drawn to Sookie Stackhouse because of her differences and usefulness. The vampire couldn't help but wonder how he might employ the abilities of the zombie.
"Good luck getting a vampire to agree to blood tests." He shook his head. "Our blood has too much power to go bandying it about like that. Right from us it's healing, and gives the drinker some of our traits. Kept out of our bodies for a bit and it becomes a drug. Granted, not all the vampires here have the same, but I bet you wouldn't be able to convince the other types any more than you'll be able to convince my species."
Eric looked at Liv, studying her more. "I'm over a thousand years old. I've walked the streets of London through the plague. I've survived radiation. Smallpox. I can't get sick. I can't be infected by anything."
He wasn't going to tell her about Hep V. He doubted that she was a carrier anyway. There hadn't been a single case of Hep V since he'd arrived, which made Eric believe it was a threat only in his own world.
"But your worries are your worries." He wasn't about to baby anyone.
