Peggy tilted her head so that her gaze stilled on the Vikings own. Her jaw was set some. "It is a good thing. But a woman has to have a decent man with which to have such a thing. She can't just run off any marry the first man that approaches her with intent." And she had plenty to keep her busy. She thought about being married, and having a family. Diligently she worked that pathway as much as she could toward achieving that silent goal.
"It would not be the size of great fields, this garden. So the ground wouldn't need much in effort to till it and work it. I would help you irrigate, we can come up with a system to keep your plants watered appropriately in event of strange weather. The climate here seems fairly mild as it is, though one can never be too sure about the chances of rain. I am sure I can ask Steve and James for their assistance in building a fence around the structure to keep the animals out..." She was talking mostly to herself during the last few words of her sentence.
Her eyes had glassed over with thought. Snapping out of it, Peggy lifted her head and set her gaze on her roommate, "What sorts of things would you like to grow? I suppose that is the first step we need to take."
