Dinah heard the bad news tone even before Dean confirmed that it was. Then again, asking her to meet at the Clock Tower was never an indication of good news. The former Justice League base seemed a little bit empty now that the team was gone from the City, and Dinah always felt a little rush of guilt whenever she passed it or visited it. She knew that someone else could use the tech in the tower to do some real good in the City, but that someone wasn't her. She could barely send an email.
She had to stop herself from cutting off traffic to pull a u-turn in the street, though she did turn as soon as possible and her bike sped in the direction of the Clock Tower. It was easy enough to find because it loomed over many of the buildings like a beacon amidst the City's skyline.
She didn't have much trouble getting there so she pulled up front and parked her bike. Then she waited for any sign of that familiar classic car that her boyfriend loved so much.
